With the recent acquisition of the Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment, Paragon Testing Enterprises has retired the CELPIP-Academic Test and the last official test sitting was on August 13, 2015.

Test takers who were interested in taking the CELPIP-Academic Test are referred to take the CAEL Assessment which is one of Canada’s best academic English language tests. The test offers a unique alternative to other standardized tests of English as it is an integrated, task-based test on one topic.

Benefits of the CAEL Assessment:

  • Accepted by over 150 academic institutions across Canada and the United States as well as to several international institutions. The test is also accepted at a number of professional organizations, including the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
  • Test sittings are available across Canada and in select cities internationally.
  • The fee is $195.00 CAD compared to other academic tests that can be over $300.00 CAD.
