Paragon’s Dr. Bruno Zumbo awarded 2016 UBC Killam Research Prize

Paragon Testing Enterprises is pleased to announce that Dr. Bruno Zumbo, who currently holds the Paragon UBC Professorship in Psychometrics and Measurement, has been awarded the 2016 UBC Killam Research Prize.

UBC Killam Research Prizes recognize outstanding research and scholarly contributions from both junior and senior scholars. Winners were selected by UBC’s Faculty Research Award Committee, which spans arts and humanities, applied science, science, and medicine.

Dr. Bruno Zumbo, 2016 UBC Killam Research Award Winner.Dr. Bruno Zumbo has been awarded the 2016 UBC Killam Research Prize in the Senior Scholar, Arts & Humanities category. Up to ten prizes in the amount of $5,000 each are awarded annually to full-time faculty members in recognition of outstanding research and scholarly contributions. In response to receiving the award: “It is inspiring to receive an award like this. For me research and teaching go hand in hand, one shaping and informing the other; therefore, this Killam Research Prize will proudly be displayed next to my Killam Teaching Award from 2011/2012. I wish to thank the nominators within UBC and the referees for their time, energy, and care.
