CELPIP Academic Test Registration Fee Discounted by $50 for Students Enrolled in Immigration Practitioner Programs at Educational Institutions Accredited by ICCRC
Paragon Testing Enterprises has discounted its CELPIP Academic Test registration fee of $250 by 20% (i.e., $50) for students enrolled in immigration practitioner programs at educational institutions accredited by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). This discount will apply for all CELPIP test sittings beginning June 1, 2012.
Individuals who wish to be certified by ICCRC as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) must provide evidence of their language proficiency in either English or French. RCIC applicants seeking to demonstrate proficiency in English may submit the results from any of five English proficiency tests designated by ICCRC. One of these tests is the CELPIP Academic Test offered by Paragon Testing Enterprises.
Paragon would like to attract an increased number of these individuals to use its CELPIP Academic Test in order to increase awareness of and experience with its CELPIP tests among both these new immigration consultants and their future clients.
The English proficiency tests designated by ICCRC are offered periodically at a variety of testing centres across Canada, and they have varied prices. In order to attract a larger percentage of the RCIC applicants, Paragon is expanding its testing centres across Canada and the frequency of its test sittings. Within the past 12 months, the number of test sittings per year has increased from 28 test sittings over three testing centres to 120 test sittings over ten testing centres. Paragon is currently implementing plans to expand its testing centres even further to achieve a total of 20 testing centres by June 2013. Paragon is now discounting the registration price for its CELPIP Academic Test to make this test even more attractive to RCIC applicants.
How and When the Discount Will Be Applied
Paragon is providing the $50 discount on the registration fee for its CELPIP Academic Test only for RCIC applicants who are enrolled in an immigration practitioner program. No discounts will be provided for the CELPIP Academic Test for any other test candidates, and no discounts are being proposed for the CELPIP General Test taken by many applicants for immigration under the Federal Skilled Worker and Professionals category.
This discount will apply for all CELPIP test sittings beginning June 1, 2012. The discount will be applied during the online registration process for the CELPIP Academic Test. RCIC applicants who are currently enrolled in an immigration practitioner program or who have already completed their program are eligible for the discount which will be provided during the CELPIP Academic Test registration process. To be eligible for the discount, registrants will be required to provide the name of the educational institution that is delivering/has delivered their immigration practitioner program and their expected date/date of graduation, and to authorize Paragon to confirm their participation in the program with the educational institution. RCIC applicants who wish to take the CELPIP Academic Test and use its results to enrol in a future immigration practitioner program that requires submission of such results prior to enrolment should contact Paragon to determine their eligibility for the discount.
